Представляет собой письменное безусловное оборотное платежное требование на определенную сумму денег в той или иной валюте, предусматривающее конкретный срок платежа. Подавляющая часть переводных векселей выписывается одновременно с совершением акта продажи товаров. Такие векселя являются коммерческим документом.
